Project Overview
Using yarn and a crochet hook, a 3D model of a hyperbolic pseudosphere was created by increasing at constant intervals.
Tools and Materials
- Red Superfine cotton yarn
- Blue superfine cotton yarn
- 2mm Crochet Hook
- (Any yarn and any size hook should work, but using a hook slightly smaller than what is required by the yarn size will yield smaller, tighter stitches that make the structures more rigid)
Project Files
Step-by-Step Instructions
Start with a magic circle/ring of 6 st
St 1, increase, repeat until desired (for ball with blue outer edge)
St 2, increase, repeat until desired (for larger pseudosphere)
