Measuring voltage:
- Connect the black lead of the multimeter to the COM terminal.
- Connect the red lead of the multimeter to the V/Ω terminal.
- Set the multimeter to the DC voltage setting.
- Connect the black lead to the negative terminal of the circuit and the red lead to the positive terminal of the circuit.
- The multimeter will display the voltage of the circuit.
Measuring current:
- Connect the black lead of the multimeter to the COM terminal.
- Connect the red lead of the multimeter to the A/Ω terminal.
- Set the multimeter to the DC current setting.
- Connect the multimeter in series with the circuit you want to measure the current of.
- The multimeter will display the current of the circuit.
Measuring resistance:
- Connect the black lead of the multimeter to the COM terminal.
- Connect the red lead of the multimeter to the V/Ω terminal.
- Set the multimeter to the resistance setting.
- Connect the black lead to one end of the resistor and the red lead to the other end of the resistor.
- The multimeter will display the resistance of the resistor.
Measuring continuity:
- Connect the black lead of the multimeter to the COM terminal.
- Connect the red lead of the multimeter to the V/Ω terminal.
- Set the multimeter to the continuity setting.
- Touch the black lead to one end of the circuit and the red lead to the other end of the circuit.
- If the circuit is complete, the multimeter will beep.
